SIMIS Group is based in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, China. We supply custom metal castings, forgings and CNC-machined components for industrial OEM customers, working from customer drawings, specifications and project requirements. Our focus is on selecting practical manufacturing routes for the specified material, geometry, mechanical performance, production quantity and inspection needs.

Our Companies and Background

SIMIS Group consists of two companies with complementary manufacturing specializations:

• Taiyuan SIMIS Investment Casting Co., Ltd. — established in 2004, with a focus on custom metal casting.

• Shanxi KSN Precision Forging Technology Development Co., Ltd. — established in 2015, extending the group's forging capabilities.

These operations support customers seeking cast or forged blanks as well as components requiring subsequent machining and finishing. The manufacturing approach is reviewed for each project rather than assuming that one process is suitable for every part.

Casting, Forging and CNC Machining Capabilities

Our casting processes include investment casting, sand casting, shell mold casting, lost foam casting, gravity permanent mold casting and pressure die casting. The suitable process depends on alloy selection, part geometry, tooling, tolerances and production volume.

For forged components, SIMIS supports open-die forging, closed-die forging, cold forging and ring rolling, subject to the part design and project requirements. CNC machining, heat treatment, surface finishing and selected sheet metal fabrication operations can be coordinated where specified.

Typical drawing-based projects include gearbox housings, pump and valve bodies, brackets, shafts, flanges, gears, bearing supports and other engineered metal components.

Engineering Review and Manufacturing Coordination

We begin with the customer's 2D drawings or 3D models, material grade, anticipated order quantity and functional requirements. The engineering review considers casting or forging feasibility, tooling, machining allowances, critical fits, heat treatment and surface finish. Where needed, the project plan also defines prototype or initial sample review before repeat production.

Manufacturing and inspection requirements are agreed against the approved drawing and purchase specification. This helps align material selection, production steps and acceptance criteria before orders move into production.

Quality Management and Documentation

Taiyuan SIMIS Investment Casting Co., Ltd. displays an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system certificate for its stated scope. Project-specific quality controls may include material verification, dimensional inspection, hardness or mechanical testing, non-destructive examination and inspection records, as required by the order. Applicable test methods, acceptance standards and document packages should be confirmed during quotation.

We also recognize the importance of handling customer drawings and commercial information confidentially. Requirements for nondisclosure agreements and technical-document controls can be discussed before quotation or production.
